Meet the Designer

Hello, I'm Melissa.

Growing up, I was inspired by homes that felt beautiful but lived in, with layered colors and textures that created a feeling of welcome. I admired the creative display of family heirlooms, art and treasures collected during the homeowners’ travels. Nothing overly matchy, but everything belonged.

That feeling is what I chase in every home I design. I believe a house should tell the story of the people who live in it, and that the best rooms come together slowly, with intention.

I've been designing professionally since 2018, though I studied it 25 years ago before stepping back to raise my family. Design wasn't a career I chose — it was born into who I am, and it has been a core passion of mine my entire life.

Today I work with clients in Brentwood, Franklin and across Middle Tennessee, helping them create homes that feel warm, personal and timeless. I'd love to hear about yours.

What Curated and Collected Means to Me

It means a room that looks like it evolved over years, not one delivered on a single truck.

It means keeping the heirloom dresser and finding the perfect lamp to sit on it. It means a vintage rug under a brand-new sofa, and art you'll love for the rest of your life. The first time you saw it, something about it spoke to your heart.

Most importantly, it means a home that feels like you.
